This comes seven years and six months after the release of the Xbox 360, marking one of the longest periods between one console and its successor. During the conference, which was aired on Xbox Live, Xbox.com and Spike TV, the following announcements were made:
More features are set to be announced at the E3 expo in June 2013 with the console due to be released ‘later this year’ according to President of Interactive Entertainment Business Don Mattrick. But fret not: a full write-up of our observations will be posted tomorrow once I’ve a chance to calm down from all of the excitement. In the meantime, check out the official trailer above and start to wonder how many pennies you’re going to have to save to be able to get your hands of one of these shiny new babies.
